This is a unique flight! Kah Sheets Lake, located on the south end of Kupreanof Island (north of Wrangell) is just 20 minutes by air. The plane will land in the lake and offload passengers near the cabin for the day. A walk of about 2 3/4 miles will take you to Kah Sheets Bay. The plane is normally unable to land at the bay as a 14 foot tide is needed to reach the cabin located there (or 1/2 mile walk in the mud!).

Fish from the lake for trout (May to September), red salmon (July) and silver salmon (August to September) near the falls.

Cabins are available by reservation at either the lake or the bay.
