Anan Bear Observatory (SA-205)

Just 15 minutes by air, the US Forest Service maintained Anan Bear Observatory located on the mainland is a photographers dream come true!!

This day trip departs Wrangell Airport and drops you in the heart of a fish spawning stream and tidal lagoon.

See eagles, seals and black bear. No fishing is allowed near the observatory. A US Forest Service cabin is located nearby which can be reserved.
